The hotel artwork links with the hotel’s accessories.It has a strong connection with the architectural,space,interior decoration,soft furnishings,custom’s expectation,social culture and hotel’s own image.Artwork is the epitome and essence of the entire hotel culture.The spirit of the hotel and the main theme of the interior decorative work shall be sublimated through the hotel artwork.Meanwhile,the artistic features of the artwork shall fit to the whole atmosphere and conceptual planning of the hotel.Its expression form and material media must be consistent with the overall style of the hotel.Therefore,the artistic appearance of the hotel artwork should not only be limited to the appreciation of the visual level,but should also embody the essence of the hotel culture in the connotation and express the concept of hotel management.The hotel artwork must not only have the independent characteristics of the artwork,but also satisfy the hotel’s own set of functional requirements.Therefore,the planning and creation of hotel artworks is a systematic project that integrates social psychology,synesthesia,visual perception,architectural and design aesthetics etc.In recent years,the creativity and innovation ability of the hotel’s art accessory industry in China have been developed by leaps and bounnds.At the same time,there are also many problems,such as:accessories does not fit the hotel’s concept;the mainstream appreciation of artwork in China has distance with the Pioneering works of art;pseudo-artwork and plagiarism work filled the market;vicious competition in the accessories industry promoted the low quality products.This article reviews the creation process of the hotel artwork and the operating rules of the hotel art accessories industry.It also discusses how to make a successful hotel artwork based on practical experience.
