Marine Diesel Engine Cylinder Head Automatic Assembly Line Design

The cylinder head of marine diesel engine is one of the key components of marine diesel engine.Its assembly quality directly affects the performance of the marine diesel engine.Manufacturing industry is the foundation of our country.China put forward the concept of "made in China 2025",and intelligent manufacturing is t he main development direction of it.The research on automatic assembly line of marine diesel engine not only makes up for the shortage of traditional manual assembly of marine diesel engine cylinder head,but also is the development trend of marine diesel engine manufacturing industry.This paper is based on the investigation of the current situation of marine diesel engine cylinder head assembly.The overall scheme design of automatic assembly line for cylinder head of marine diesel engine was c arried out.Through the research and analysis of the traditional manual assembly process a nd the size characteristics of the par ts of the cyl inder head of the marine diesel engine,the assembly process flow suitable for the automatic assembly line is designed.Through demand analysis,the overall structure,layout and equipment composition of the assembly line are designed.The simulation software Plant Simulation is used to carry out simulation analysis and verify the efficiency and rationality of the assembly line.The mechanical structure of typical station assembly equipment in assembly line system are in troduced.The structure and working principle of each equipment are introduced.Three dimensional construction,interference checking and 3DVIA Composer virtual assembly animation are made.Introduce the design of the control system of the assembly line.The hardware and software design of the control system are intr oduced,and some PLC program s are com piled.Most of the equipments for ac tuator assembly line use pneumatic components.A pneumatic schematic diagram is designed for two typical assembly equipment in assembly line.The automatic assembly line of marine diesel engine cylinder head can change the present situation of the manual assembly of th e cylinder head.Besides,the assem bly efficiency is improved and the burden of assembly workers is reduced.In addition,the assembly line has the advantages of high automation,compact structure and high reliability.
