Our country is building railways and other transportation facilities vigorously in these years.There are always houses and equipment need to be protected because of the uncontrol blasting flyrock,when the roadbed and the tunnel blasted.In order to avoid the threat of blasting slungshot,it requires a lot of manpower,material and financial resources,but it can not eliminate the threat of flyrock completely.Various of experts and scholars at home and abroad has never stopped to study on the blasting flyrocks and they also provided some views and opinions about its flight distance.But it is difficult to have a precise formula which can predict the flying flight distance,due to many factors such as blasting parameters,explosive parameters,rock mass parameters.Therefore,it is necessary to conduct research and prediction a flyrock distance in blasting excavation engineering of roadbed and tunnel.With the efforts of many experts',the research and development of rock blasting theory and computer simulation technology has become more and more diversified.Firstly,the article analyses the mechanism of flying rocks basic on the rock blasting theory,and then use the AHP to set the index weight and sort the importance.Meanwhile,the author would study on the process of throwing blasting slungshot with the dimensional analysis method and derive a function expression about the maximum distance of blasting flyrock,finally.A series of experimental data would be obtained and statisticed about the blasting flyrock distance with some tests basic on the blasting excavation engineering of Chang-Gan railway.And then,in order to get the function expression about the flight distance of flying rocks,the author would fit these groups of test data for the fitted values as the coefficient function expression by the numerical software.The function expression about the flight distance of flying rocks could be used in blasting engineering,to ensure the safety and reliability of blasting excavation,or effectively avoids the harm of stone.However,it has a theoretical and practical meaning to guarantee the maximize economic benefits of blasting engineering.
