The transmission line plays the role of transporting electric energy.The transmission line corridor complex terrain,climate change,lightning activity frequently.Lightning failure caused by transmission line failure accounted for 40%to 70%of all failures,and lightning strikes the wire rate is high.The traveling fault location device has become 220kV and above voltage level transmission line standard configuration.In order to reduce lightning impact hazard are equipped with lightning arrester,the transmission lines through the heavy minefield,terrain height,standing side.But it doesn't have any analytical investigation in the whole world about whether the arrester's action will affect the travelling wave.The article analyzed the effect of lightning strike fault travelling wave according to the action of the lightning arrester,And from the single-ended traveling wave information summed up the impact of the law.The essay researches on the influences of lightning flashover or no flashover arrester operations in the following three situations:conductor's lightning shielding failure,lightning's striking the tower top and lightning's striking the center of the lightning conductor.Combining the fault data of the measured lightning-to research on the influence of the lightning flashover or no flashover arrester operations,the finds that the MOA in different positions will influence the fault location to different extent.After the action of the Lightning arrester,not only the fault travelling wave amplitude will be cut down,but also bring the transition?mutation or shock process in the follow-up initial travelling wave head,increase the recognition difficulty of the stadiometry single-ended travelling wave towards wave head.The arrester operations can be judged according to the shape of the collected waveform.To improve the precise positioning of the line,the identification of lightning properties and the study of lightning current inversion and lay the foundation.On the basis of arrester characteristics of fault traveling wave effect,using the least squares fitting and correlation coefficient analysis,image edge detection method combined with the Euclidean distance or markov distance can realize traveling wave to the influence of the presence of lightning arrester action identification;If there is lightning arrester action with wavelet modulus maxima,the HHT,Hough transform lightning arrester from the flashover point location identification.Arrester located away from the flashover point make the wave head subsequent presents an oscillation process,increase the single-ended distance of fault point identification difficulty of reflection wave,using music frequency estimation algorithm combining multi-resolution wavelet decomposition can shield the subsequent oscillation,the influence of reflection wave effectively identify the fault point,can determine the position of the arrester.It is helpful to determine the operation and maintenance of the lightning arrester and the estimated service life.
