The core value of the architectural space lies in the place-making,the promotion of the communication,the stimulating behavior of the people and the production of the narrative and the meaning.Nowadays,new media technology and the development of the Internet environment are changing rapidly,and the physical environment of people's life is transformed by its influence on diversity.The building can't leave the place alone to create spiritual meaning,as is the media architecture as a link medium for physical space and digital networks.Media architecture evolved from the development of the urbanscreens,at first attention to the individual technology and the expression of its artistic effect,so far more and more experts and scholars began to pay attention to the role and influence of media architecture in the environment.The relationship between cyberspace and physical space is also a hot topic,such as the term " Digital Placemaking ",which was proposed by Glenn Harding in 2004 from the research urban screen in 2004,but nobody has discussed it in China.Until November 2016,professor Chang Zhigang put forward the concept of' Digital Placemaking" at the international conference of Asian cities and Architecture in 2016.In this paper,on the basis of predecessors' summary,summarizes the Digital Placemaking development present situation,from place based on the comparison with Digital place,combining with scholars' views and actual cases,the induction,combed the Digital places to build the basic elements of,summarize and combining with the concept of digitization in the broadest sense of the place and cognition,compared to traditional places,the concept of extension analyses the three basic Digital Placemaking,namely "field","behavior" and "events".Then,according to the basic elements of the Digital Placemaking,the author sums up the "events","field","meaning" three kinds of basic types of Digital Placemaking,hopes to find places of digital construction implementation of the basic construction train of thought.The last part,the author briefly discusses "for space organization caused by the build border","by the media characteristics caused by the build boundary","because of the social significance of build boundary",create a deeper discussion on the Digital Placemaking.
