Distribution network contact with the users the most closely,it is also the final step of electricity transmission,the power supply reliability of distribution network will directly affect the user experience.Distribution network has complicated structure,a lot of branch lines,equipments,and the load change so frequently,so it often occur faults,especially the single phase earth fault.After faults,whether can we quickly locate the fault branch and the position of the fault is very important,the result is very important to restore power supply of distribution network.The method widely used in China's distribution network about neutral point to ground is ungrounded system,After the single phase ground fault,the line fault capacitive current is very small,make it difficult to acquisition and recognition the fault signals.So there are many methods of fault line selection and location cannot be effectively applied to the small current grounding system of the distribution network at present,in this article I studied methods based on wide-area fault voltage wave of distribution network about fault location and optimization method of measuring points,using the theory of traveling wave to study the fault of distribution network.Summary the research status of distribution network fault line selection and fault location methods mainly used in the study,and the advantages and disadvantages of the methods in distribution network.summary the distributed power supply research related to distribution network.On the communication process and the characteristic of the traveling wave in the power distribution network,For the average voltage transformer and transformer terminal to the traveling wave voltage characteristics is summarized,combined with distribution network branch many faults,such as complicated structure,current volatile is proposed mode voltage traveling wave fault location and fault-line.For distributed power distribution network access,and access to distribution network,by simulating the process of single-phase grounding distribution network influence,Establish foundation for later related content.There are many researchs in the optimization of the surveying points of the traveling wave fault location in the transmission line,and the optimization of the distribution points in the distribution network is less,Based on the topology constraint of distribution network,this paper analyzes the propagation characteristics of traveling wave,and optimizes the location of the device based on simulated annealing particle swarm optimization under the premise of ensuring that all the lines in this network are faulty.Based on the result of the above chapter,based on the arrival time of the wavefront of the wide-area fault voltage,the fault branch location method is proposed.At the same time,the information obtained by the nearest measurement point and the improved single-ended fault location Method to locate the position of the fault on the branch accurately.The theoretical study and simulation results based on PSCAD show that:In this paper,the optimization scheme of the device can effectively reduce the location of the distribution point,while ensuring that all branches of the line failure are considerable,reducing the investment cost;while improving accuracy,the above research can promote the relevant traveling wave positioning method in the distribution network applications.
