In this paper, the damage process and the damage level of reinforced concrete elementsand frame structure under the blast loading were numerical simulated systematically. The results of this paper are important for the damage evaluation of buildings suffering the blast loading. The contents and results are as follows:(1)The damages of concrete column under the blast loading in severalload cases were studied and the cumulative damage graphic, speed history curves with different explosive equivalent and explosive distancewere obtained,as well as relationship between the damage degree and the explosive equivalent or distance from the the explosive source.(2)The damages of concrete-filled steel-tubular column under the blast loading were studied and the cumulative damage graphic, speed history curves were obtained for different thickness of the pipe walls,as well as relationship between the damage degree and the thickness of the pipe walls.(3)The damages of reinforced concrete frame under the blast loading were studied. The Misses-stress history curves, the acceleratedspeedhistory curves, the displacement history curves, the failure process and the shock wave propagation patterns for different explosive source positions were obtained.(4)The damages of reinforced concrete frame under the blast loading were studied for different explosive equivalent. The Misses-stress history curves, the velocity history curves, the displacement history curves of the same Gauss point at different explosive equivalents were obtained, and the failure process, the destroyed region and destroyed shape of the RC frames under different explosive equivalent were achieved.(5)The damages of reinforced concrete frame under the blast loading were studied for different explosive distance. The Misses-stress history curves, the velocity history curves, the displacement history curves of the same Gauss point were obtained, and the failure process, the destroyed region and destroyed shape of the RC frames under different explosive distances were achieved.
