Temperature Control And Crack Prevention Analysis Of Mass Concrete Of Wudaoku Hydropower Station

Roller Compacted Concrete dam is a new type dam developed in recent 20 years.Cracks occur on many built dams,especially on RCC dams in harsh climate region.Cracks decrease the integrity,anti-seepage,durability and safety of concrete dams.Research indicates that thermal stress is the chief load leading to cracks in RCC dam,and stresses caused by other loads are smaller.Five libraries hydropower station is located in the tangwanghe has river basin,belongs to the temperate continental monsoon climate zone,little rain dry windy spring,hot and humid and rainy summer but brief,autumn cool more quickly early frost,long and dry winter chill.The local climate characteristics is: the seasonal change is big,big temperature difference between day and night,frozen time is long,cold winter always attack.Average annual temperature is low(annual average temperature of 0.9 ?),dam body stability of low temperature,and a large number of concrete pouring in the summer,foundation temperature difference is big.Due to the special climate conditions,the winter can't normal construction,problems bedrock thin layer on the concrete for the winter.Compared with warm humid regions of conventional concrete dam,dam five libraries this special climatic conditions,which need to be taken during construction and operation periods are more targeted and more special crack control measures,so the construction and operation safety of the dam can be ensured.This article mainly according to the basic conditions of five library hydropower station and dam structure characteristics,combined with domestic and foreign RCC dam crack control technology of the new progress and engineering practical experience,using 3 d finite element simulation calculation method,to explore the special weather conditions of the dam concrete temperature control standard and crack control measures,formulate scientific,complete,strong operability of the temperature control measures and methods,to guide the construction and design of the dam,to ensure dam safety has higher crack resistance.
