In order to better realize the industrialization of high-rise residential building, the standardization should be built on the modular, which will promote industrialization. This paper presents a new high rise steel structure residence system- space grid cassette bundled tube structure. The structure has broad prospects for development, which sets superior mechanical properties, architecture division and environmental protection and the economic advantages of flexible function in one and applies with the requirements in three principles of circular economy and independent innovation road of science and technology.Firstly, the paper presents the cassette bundled tube structure with the description about advantages and disadvantages of high-rise steel structure residential building, course construction and research at home and abroad. In this part, it presents the significance and main content of this topic research. Secondly, it introduces cassette bundled tube structure from characteristics, basic composition, mechanical principles and analysis methods, which provides theoretical basis for the actual project.Thirdly it takes a planned high-rise residential for example, which build box-beam structure and model of conventional frame-tube structures with PKPM software. The search compares and analysis the structural displacement cycles, floors, columns and the core between the base overturning moment and shear force distribution of parameters. The results show that the cassette bundled tube structure on mechanical properties and seismic performance is superior to conventional frame tube structure.Fourthly, with the help of the Midas-Building software, it establish a cassette bundled tube structure and conventional frame tube structure model, which are compared and analyzed from the torsional properties of two kinds of structure. Then analysis static elastic plasticity in cassette bundled tube structure. As the structure is in the process of napping or change the size of the section, the research shows the influence of the order plastic development and yield, stiffness of the tube inside and outside shear force distribution, development on the structure. The results show the cassette bundled tube structure with good torsion performance, which still has good ductility under large earthquake and can meet the requirements for seismic fortification earthquake without collapse. The component parameters change does not affect the structures of all kinds yield sequence, inside and outside the tube shear distribution, stiffness development process, which has certain influence on the component into the plastic moment.However, the effect on other components into the plastic moment is small.Finally, the article briefly introduces analysis method in the elastic-plastic time history. The cassette bundled tube structure model was established with the application of ETABS software which was studied from plastic time history in order to obtain top displacement and base moment, inter layer displacement angle and story shear under the seismic condition. Meanwhile, the structure was researched in different earthquake transport into the angle of the seismic performance. The results show that under the earthquake effect, the structure still has good rigidity with the status of most components in elastic stage, which can meet the set performance goals. The axis direction is not the most dangerous direction of the earthquake wave, but the X axis into 45 degree angle about the direction.
