Friction wear will not only bring security risks,but also cause huge economic losses for our human beings.Improving the lubrication conditions of the friction pairs can effectively reduce friction wear.Lubricants is an important way of improving the lubrication condition of friction pairs.Lubricant additive is an important mean to improve the lubricant quality.The purpose of this research is to studied the synergistic of the complex system of organic Mo and nano-lanthanum borate.The research contents and conclusions include:(1)The preparation of lanthanum borate nanoparticles.Nanometer lanthanum borate is prepared by on-line modification in the article.The effect of coupling agents(KH550) on the conglomerating of lanthanum borate nanoparticles was also investigated.The optimum dosage of Silane coupling agents in the preparation of nano lanthanum borate particles was determined.The problem of aggregation of Lanthanum for Nanoparticles was solved,and the dispersion stability of the complex systems has also been improved.(2)The method of dispersing organic molybdenum and nanometer lanthanum borate in lubricating oil has been explored.Three different dispersion methods are designed in this study:Mechanical ball milling method,ultrasonic dispersion method and mechanical grinding-ultrasonic dispersion method.The study showed that: the complex systems of Organic molybdenum and nanometer lanthanum borate made by mechanical grinding-ultrasonic dispersion method not only has good dispersivity and stability,but also has good extreme pressure and anti-wear performance.Therefore,mechanical grinding-ultrasonic dispersion method is the best way for dispersing organic molybdenum and nanometer lanthanum borate in lubricant oil.(3)The best ratio of organic Mo and nanometer lanthanum borate,and he best adding dosage of the compound additive in lubricating oils are explored.This study ismainly to test the different lubrication systems by four-ball friction tests,and the experimental results were evaluated by the comprehensive evaluation method.Research shows:when the ratio of organic Mo and nano-lanthanum borate is 4:1,and the mass fraction of compound additives in lubricating oil is 1.5%,the synergy of the two kinds of additives is optimal.(4)The mechanism of anti-friction and anti-wear properties of organic Mo and nanometer lanthanum borate compound additive is studied.Organic Mo and nanometer lanthanum borate composite additive has excellent tribological properties.this may be due to:(1)The synergistic effect of organic Mo and nanometer lanthanum borate leads to the improvement of the compound activity,that can promote the formation of the self repairing film or the diffusion of molybdenum and lanthanum ions on the surface of friction.(2)Chemical reaction film and self-repair film of the composite additive is formed on the surface of the steel ball in the experimental process.(3)Nanoparticles play a role of "micro ball" on the surface of the friction pair.The results of this paper provides a theoretical basis for the application and research for this composite materials.this is of high reference value for study of related fields. So the research has very important theoretical significance and practical application value.
