The garment's on body is sometimes enough to cause uncomfort due to large elongation,especially those for infants,aged people and professionals.So,the concept of the geometrical deformation based ultra-low modulus knitted fabric is put forward for the first time.In this paper,the rib fabric is selected as the research object,because it has high elongation and laceration resis.Two types of yarn that are wool and aceylic knitted the fabrics are chosen to study in terms of "second knitting".In addition,two types of yarn that are false-twist textured yarn and PTT/PET bi-component fiber with geometrical deformation are used to make knitted fabrics,and ultra-low modulus knitted fabric is obtained by the above two methods.This paper mainly studies the effect of yarn with geometrical deformation on the properties of knitted fabric,explores the influencing factors,and establishes a model.The research contents are as follows:1)The ultra-low modulus knitted fabric was prepared.Firstly,the mechanism of the tensile deformation of knitted fabric is studied,and the factors affecting the tensile modulus of the fabric are analyzed in theory.The ultra-low modulus knitted fabric was prepared according to the analysis conclusion.2)The physical properties test of ultra-low modulus knitted fabric.The physical properties of ultra-low modulus knitted fabric and normally rib knitted fabric are analyzed by testing the fabric's thickness,moisture permeability,tensile properties and other performance of the fabric,and the reasons are analyzed.The tensile results indicate that compared to the normally rib knitted fabric,the tensile modulus decreases by 95.77%.3)A grey model is set up.A Zeiss microscope is used to observe the shape of the yarn with geometrical deformation,and the data are analyzed.The relationship between the geometrical deformation of the yarn and the tensile modulus of the knitted fabric is analyzed by the grey correlation analysis.The grey model is dx1(1)/dt-10.1594x1(1)=-1.4782x2(1)+254.1895x3(1)+ 5.5731x4(1)-163.379x5(1)-104.888 x6(1)+19.6585x7(1);4)Measurement and calculation of clothing pressure.For man's cotton socks,ladies'stockings and tight trousers,the subjects are dressed for 8 hours,recorded physical responses and subjective feelings after wearing.Experimental results show that this clothing pressure is as big as 2.959KPa,which far exceeds the comfort pressure of 0.6665KPa.Clothing pressure of ultra-low modulus knitted fabric is down to 0.7KPa.Compared with the clothing pressure of normally knitted fabrics,the clothing pressure of reknitting fabrics has decreased by 89.33%.Therefore,the ultra-low modulus knitted fabric can effectively reduce the clothing pressure.In this paper,a method for the preparation of ultra-low modulus knitted fabric is studied.A correlation model between the geometrical deformation of yarn and the tensile modulus of the fabric is established.The application of ultra-low modulus knitwear in fabric clothing pressure is studied.This will be of great guiding significance to the development of new fabric for infants,aged people and professionals.
