| The old AIR SEPARATION UNITS of Jilin Petro-Chemical Chemical Fertilizer is composed of five sets of air separation units.Among them,5 old sets of air separation units of Chemical Fertilizer Plant,which were beyond retirement date,had caused so many ill effects because of their long service time,underdeveloped technology and high energy consumption:On the one hand,the units didn't run safely and steadily;on the other hand,they directly obstructed the supply of oxygen and nitrogen for the whole plant area.In order to deal with above problem,Jilin Petro-Chemical Co.Ltd.recombined the previous air separation units,established new sets of ones with advanced technology,and updated the supply system of oxygen and nitrogen.From 2013 to 2014,the old air separation units were remodeled through the excellent technique of Air Liquid,and the new ones which run steadily and reach capacity as expected have been put into production since September 2014.After technical transformation,the new air separation units with high security and stability not only pledge the sufficient supply of oxygen and nitrogen for the whole factory,but also get more profits from the by-product-Liquid Argon with large market demand.This paper focuses on the transformation plan of air separation units and deeply states how to better operate them after technological upgrading. |
