Technically Piloted Textile Design Research

Textile design skills and separation of origin in the information age,especially the current science and technology change rapidly,the traditional textile design to embrace technology so as to realize the power of innovation is an important topic of common concern in academia and industry.Arai Junichi as a pioneer of technology leader in textile design has strong technology characteristic and distinctive artistic personality,become a common tutor in academia and industry.In this paper,by combing the textile art of Arai Junichi,from the two aspects of technology and art,the author analyzes the design methods and ideas of the contemporary technology based textile design.From the four aspects of material,process,form and figure in Arai Junichi’s works,this paper summarizes the design ideas of his combination of art and science,tradition and modern,Eastern philosophy and Western philosophy.With the help of technology leading designers emerging generation of the case,to discuss the innovation way of contemporary technology leader in textile design: from the technical view,starting from the culture,from the comprehensive and from the perspective of sustainability.The development methods and characteristics of the whole research process through the works and literature file on contemporary technology leader in textile design study,provides a reference idea for the reform and development of modern textile design,from the unique perspective to the textile industry to provide a degree of reference and transformation.
