In this paper,the sodium alginate?sodium carboxymethyl cellulose were used as the raw material,the three coagulation baths were studied to prepare alginic acid blend films and blend fibers.And the blend films or fibers' mechanical performance,moisture absorption(in distilled water,normal saline,artificial plasma water retention)performance and moisture permeability performance were measured by changing the calcium chloride concentration,solidification temperature,solidification time,pH value and additives of coagulation bath.The blend films and blend fibers' structure were characterized by metallographic microscopy,infrared spectroscopy(IR),X-ray diffraction(XRD)and scanning electron microscopy(SEM).The calcium chloride aqueous solution was used as coagulation bath,the blend films' performances were studied by changing the calcium chloride concentration,solidification temperature,solidification time and pH value of coagulation bath,the blend films gained good performances when the concentration of calcium chloride was 3%,the solidification temperature was 45? and the solidification time was 75 s under neutral conditions;The blend fibers' performances were studied by changing the calcium chloride concentration,solidification temperature,solidification time.The blend fibers' properties were better under the concentration of calcium chloride was 3% and the fibers were solidified at 45?for 75 s and the fiber thickness is uniform.The calcium chloride aqueous solution and ethanol solution were used as coagulation bath,the blend films' performances were studied by changing the calcium chloride concentration,ethanol dosage,solidification temperature,solidification time and pH value of coagulation bath.The blend films' properties were ideal and the surface was smooth without wrinkles if the ratio of ethanol to water was 3:7,the concentration of calcium chloride was 3% and the films were solidified at 45 ? for 100 s under neutral conditions.The calcium chloride aqueous solution concentration was fixed,the softener was added into the calcium coagulation bath,the blend films' performances were studied by changing the silicon softener concentration,solidification temperature and solidification time of coagulation bath.The wet films were soft and the dry films surface was clear and transparent when the solidification concentration was 6% and the films were solidified at 45? for 75 s.we preliminary conclude that the concentration of coagulation bath,concrete temperature,concrete time and pH value have a great influence on the mechanical and hygroscopic properties to blend films or fibers by changing the process parameters.
