Research On The Construction Of Ecological City In Dongying City

A comprehensive plan for the promotion of ecological progress was outlined in the political report to the Eighteenth National Congress of the CPC.The report clearly states that we must incorporate the idea of ecological civilization into every aspect of economic,political,cultural,and social progress;step up efforts to develop a resource-conserving and environmentally friendly society;and strive to build a beautiful China,so as to realize lasting and sustainable development for the Chinese nation and make due contributions to global ecological security.Dongying plays an important role in the development of high-efficiency ecological economic zone in yellow river delta.Under the huge pressure of resource and energy shortage,building eco-city has gradually become the mainstream of the global urban construction.Over the years,Dongying Government has been increasing policy and financial support,and making great achievements in energy saving,environment protection,and the construction of eco-city.The living environment in Dongying has also become remarkably better than before.This paper describes current status of eco-city construction of Dongying,discusses the importance of eco-city construction of Dongying,and point out obstacles of the construction,in the end,propose objectives and specific policy proposals about the construction of eco-city of Dongying.The first part introduces the current situation of domestic and international eco-city research.The second part described the ideological origins,theoretical basis and development trend of the Eco-city concept.The third part analyzes the construction of ecological city in Dongying from the aspects of environmental factors,economic factors,political factors,social factors and cultural factors.The fourth part summarizes the main measures and achievements of eco-city construction in Dongying City.The fifth part analysed the main problems in the construction of eco-city in Dongying.The sixth part,Dongying city eco-city construction path exploration.,puts forward with some simple development countermeasures to Dongying Eco-city construction,hoping these countermeasures can promote Dongying Eco-city construction.
