Lead-Zinc Oxide ore reserves are rich in China.Reasonable development and utilization of these mineral resources is of great significance for the development of China's national economy.In this paper,Lead-Zinc Oxide from Baoshan was studied.The ore is characterized by complex structure,fine grain size and high clay content,which belongs to the refractory Lead-Zinc Oxide ore.A series of tests were carried out according to these characteristics and satisfactory results were gained,which provide guidance for separation of the same type of Lead-Zinc Oxide ore.On the basis of separation experiments on actual mineral,the single mineral experiment was carried out,and the mechanism was further explored preliminarily.The mineralogical study shows that the useful elements in the ore are lead and zinc,the lead grade is 3.04%,the oxidation rate of lead is 66.45%;the zinc grade is 7.89%,the oxidation rate of zinc is up to 85.68%,the ore belongs to the high oxidation rate mixed refractory lead-zinc mine with sulphide ore and oxidized ore.The Ore mainly in the carbonate,sulfate,oxide,sulfide and silicate total of five kinds of 15 kinds of minerals,among them,lead for the useful minerals are mainly galena,cerusite,anglesite and vegasite,etc;zinc for the useful minerals are mainly smithsonite,hemimorphite and sphalerite;and the gangue minerals are mainly dolomite.The principle flow experiment was carried out based on the mineralogical study,and the priority flotation process of "lead sulfide-zinc sulfide-lead oxide-zinc oxide" was determined.And then,the optimum flotation system was determined by flotation condition test,concentration times and scavenge times were selected by the open circuit experiment.The closed-circuit process finally determined as "one stage roughing-three stage concentration-two stage scavenging for lead sulfide;one stage roughing-two stage concentration-two stage scavenging for zinc sulfide;one stage roughing-two stage concentration-two stage scavenging for lead oxide;and one stage roughing-two stage concentration-two stage scavenging".Eventually,four products with good indicator were made by the closed-circuit process:lead sulfide concentrate;zinc sulfide concentrate;lead oxide concentrate and zinc oxide concentrate.In which,the lead grade and recovery of lead sulfide concentrate is 66.16%and 31.58%;the zinc grade and recovery of zinc sulfide concentrate is 58.27%and 13.26%;the lead grade and recovery of lead oxide concentrate is 56.45%and 53.38%;the zinc grade and recovery of zinc oxide concentrate is 42.95%and 68.63%.From the single mineral flotation test,we can see that the three kinds of collectors dodecylamine,octadecylamine and KZF have strong ability to collect the smithsonite,and the KZF has the best collecting effect,the octadecylamine,the dodecylamine successively.From the surface Zeta potential study,it can be seen that the interaction between the three kinds of collector and smithsonite treated with the sodium sulphide is mainly electrostatic adsorption,and the electrostatic adsorption of KZF is the strongest,octadecylamine followed by dodecylamine.The study of adsorbing capacity further shows that KZF has the best collecting.
