| In this paper the service life of the Outokumpu copper disc casting machine in some copper smelter is not high,the traditional ear mould the service life is only 105 tons,while the life of the advanced mould is 1000 tons;the symmetric ear mould current life is 480 tons,while the service life of the foreign mould has reached 3000 tons,and the average life of some domestic large-scale copper smelter(material:cathode copper)has reached more than 1100 tons.The main form of the useless mould is deformation,cracking,delamination.This paper mainly studies the method of prolonging the service life of the anode copper mould,and optimize the copper anode quality,improve the quality of anode copper casting on the basis of the research.Study was carried out from the following four aspects:(1)the mould production materials and processes;(2)the effects of pouring temperature on the physical properties of copper;(3)the influence of gas dissolved in the liquid copper to copper anode plate and;(4)the protection of new mixed mould release agent to the copper mould.With the excellent character of steel mould,such as stable and reliable performance,impact resistance,corrosion resistance and the release agent can not be used,but if the mould breaks,it can not be repaired,cathode copper mould made by die casting,the surface is smooth,uniform texture,and the service life is long,but the high cost of cathode copper casting,repair workload is big;anode copper mould casting method made of simple equipment low cost requirements,casting,mould failure after refresher convenient,cost control range.Because the temperature of blister copper is generally controlled within 1200℃~1300℃ at this temperature,the solubility of gas in copper will increase quickly,so in the casting cooling process,the gas will overflow then cause the anode plate and mould a large number of pores,so before releasing the copper,take some measures to copper in order to reduce the hydrogen,oxygen of bubbles in the molten metal to avoid becoming the pores.Different temperatures of the pouring copper has a significant effect to the strength,hardness and density of the anode plate and the copper mould,analysis the experimental data,the casting temperature is at 1150 ℃,Brinell hardness of the copper block reached 88.6HBS,the tensile strength reaches 286.4MPa,the density is 9.34g/cm3,compared with other casting copper block temperature,it performs best.3000 tons of copper were cast in the industrial experiment and produced 10910 anode plate.Compared with the traditional release agent,the new type released agent mixed with 50%BaSO4,10%B2O3,35%SiO2,2%Al2O3,3%CaO has a significant improve..the whiteboard rate with barium sulfate have fell 18%~25%.Porosity decreased 4%~10%.Stick plate rate of the anode plate decreases by 2.5%~5%.The rate of scrap plate decreased 1.5%~3%.And the original consumption dropped from 3.3kg/t to 1.7kg/t. |
