With the development of steel industry in China, coal chemical industry based coke industry was promoted; In the past 20 years, China's coking industry has been leading the world. At the same time China's energy reserves determined the situation that coal chemical industry based energy structure will not changein a long period of time. During this period, coking industry wastewater discharge, the organic compounds in water quality were mainly phenolic compounds.COD and higher color has aroused wide attention; which belong to a kind of difficult industrial wastewater.In this experiment, calcium montmorillonite (MMT) as the catalyst carrier, Fe and Al as active double metal of the catalyst, Ce as the modified metal,a series of Fe-Ce-Al/MMT catalysts were prepared by ion exchange method.The effects of active metal loading (Fe+Ce)/(Fe+Ce+Al) and Fe/Ce molar ratio on the catalytic performance of Fe-Ce-Al/MMT catalysts were investigated.The crystal structure and microstructure of Fe-Ce-Al/MMT catalysts were characterized by N2-adsorption/desorption, SEM and XRD.The results show that the pillared Fe-Ce-Al/MMT catalyst after the total load in active metal (Fe+Ce)/(Fe+Ce+Al) of 5.5%, the molar ratio of Fe/Ce is 7/3, calcination temperature of 500 ?, the layer spacing and specific surface area, large pore volume, phenol removal rate are the best, meanwhile the best of catalytic performance.Secondly, in this paperphenol that a high content of organic pollutants in coking wastewater is selected as thesimulated wastewater,the phenol simulated wastewater with concentration of 1000mg/L was configured.The catalytic wet hydrogen peroxide method (CWPO) was used to treat the phenol water,the phenol removal rate and the amount of Fe dissolution were evaluated as the evaluation indexes.The best catalyst was used for the treatment of phenol wastewater, and the optimal process was obtained under the condition of single factor experiment:The initial pH was 4, the dosage of H2O2 was 13mL/L, the dosage of catalyst is 7g/L, the reaction temperature is 60?, the reaction time is 180min, under this condition, the highest removal rate of phenol was 98.21%.Finally, based on the analysis of the water quality of the real coking wastewater and the research of the phenol wastewater, the optimum catalyst for the real coking wastewater was studied.The effects of five factors on the COD removal rate of coking wastewater were obtained:C-catalyst addition amount>D-reaction temperature>B-H2O2 addition amount>E- initial pH value> A-reaction time.The response surface optimal process conditions:initial pH value is 3.46, the dosage of H2O2 is 19.02mL/L, the dosage of catalyst is 10.9508g/L, the reaction temperature is 60?, the reaction time is 248.14min; the corresponding of the removal rate of COD was 86.2298%.
