The Performance Of Auspicious Culture In The Costume Pattern In The Han And Jin Dynasties

As a part of Chinese traditional culture, auspicious culture had been reflected in costumes of every history period. Han to Jin Dynasties was a crest of social and cultural development, and it was also an important period of change for traditional costumes. Apparel of Han and Jin had a very important position in the development of Chinese traditional costume. The paper studied the auspicious elements in apparel of Han and Jin Dynasties with auspicious culture as the breakthrough point, combining the historical data with related research and archaeological find.Firstly, this paper teased out the rise and development of auspicious Chinese culture context and summed up early manifestation of auspicious culture through relevant literature. On this basis, summarized the characteristics of the auspicious culture in Han and Jin Dynasties and concluded auspicious culture in the evolution of the Han dynasty.Secondly, the types, quantities and technique in the Han and Jin dynasties was summarized and sorted out referring to the related research and professional archaeological journals as can as possible. On the basis of the above work, the auspicious patterns and elements in costumes of Han and Jin Dynasties was summarized.On the basis of all above, this paper classified and dissected the auspicious patterns taking origin, meaning, subject, theme, form as the standard. The characteristics and evolution mechanism of auspicious patterns of different historical stages in the Western Han Dynasty to Wei Jin was summarized.Based on basic research of the auspicious patterns which was relatively complete, the auspicious patterns in Han and Jin Dynasty costumes were respectively analyzed according to the technology of auspicious patterns, artistic characteristics and cultural connotation, and a deep understanding on the auspicious patterns was established.Finally, the auspicious patterns in costumes was compared with other decorative patterns such as lacquer patterns, portrait stone and brick, bronze pattern and pottery patterns,themes. The subject, technique and pattern characteristics were analyzed.
