Shuttle vehicle as a short-distance transport agency is designed to delivery goods in designated areas. To accommodate needs of shelves in different places, it not only makes the shuttle vehicle transport goods between given sites, but also transport up and down, which saves lots of manpower and materials. However, the smooth transportation of the shuttle is an important index to ensure the goods undamaged during the transportation, which is also a standard to evaluate the quality of shuttle vehicle. In this paper, the kinematics and dynamics analysis of the shuttle was carried out based on the multi-body dynamics analysis software, which found out the weak links and the unstable factors during the movement. On this basis, we optimized the driving mode and the structure of the shuttle. The main research contents of this paper are as follows:1) The dynamic model of shuttle vehicle is set up based on its analysis. The digital prototype simulation model of shuttle vehicle is then established by the dynamic model.2) Through the dynamic simulation and dynamic analysis of the shuttle system, the weak links and unstable factors were found, which provide a theoretical basis for the optimization design.3)As the acceleration fluctuation and abrupt change cause the unsmoothly platform movement in the course of the platform movement, we optimized the driving mode, the structure of the shuttle and Layout of lifting mechanism.In short, the whole optimization process not only reduced the quality of the whole system and realized the lightweight design, but also enhanced the accuracy of the whole system structure and the stability of the movement of the system.
