In this paper,For the problem of high bit error rate of transmission signal in the strong noise background,a new method based on stochastic resonance was proposed in the case where there were only additive noise and additive and multiplicative noise are present, which is used to reduce the bit error rate of Binary frequency-shift keying(2FSK)signal by coherent demodulation receiving.First, the steady-state bit error rate of 2FSK signal in both above mentioned are derived theoretically in the nonlinear system. Then simulink modeling was computed and analyzed in MATLAB.By contrast with the conventional demodulation method,it is found that the bit error rate of 2FSK signal based on stochastic resonance of nonlinear bistable system has significantly reduced under low signal to noise(SNR)circumstances. In particular, the bit error rate curve decreased rapidly when the input SNR in the range of-14.3 dB to 0 dB.It can reduce 14.3%when the input SNR equals-6.5dB.The bit error rate of 2FSK signal through nonlinear system be further discussed by fixed noise intensity changing the system parameters where additive and multiplicative are existed. Results indicate that,BER in 2PSK stochastic resonance system excited by both additive and multiplicative noise, comparing with the system only with additive noise is reduced about 12.4%.And multiplicative noise makes the system has some robustness.By contrast with the conventional large amount of simulations show the obvious effects of stochastic resonance in the low SNR,it predicts some potential applications.
