| Stochastic resonance (SR) is a counter-intuitive phenomenon of nonlinear dynamic systems wherein the noise (stochastic force) plays a constructive role. This phenomenon has attracted much attention in the past two decades, and the bistable stochastic resonance system is regarded as the most typical model of SR. And it has been observed that SR can occur in a wide variety of systems. With the development of SR, it has far been found to account for many natural phenomena and shown a large number of applications in different areas of technology, among which signal processing via stochastic resonance is a worth subject to be concerned. For a long time, SR was described as a phenomenon wherein the response of a nonlinear system to a weak periodic input signal is optimized by the presence of a particular level of noise. However, this description has served to limit the application of SR to signal processing. Parameter-tuning stochastic resonance (PSR) is a more realistic way to handle the phenomenon of SR in a broad sense. Based on the introduce of recovery of the waveform distortion caused by the bistable system, some key problems of post treatments of SR in signal processing are studied in this paper, which include the method to erasure the remained stochastic component, the application of processing method on multi-frequency analog signal, and the measure of SR output with multi-frequency input.Recently, a new fitting method -cubic spline fitting method is found optimum in the post treatments of SR. By now, most of the literatures consider that analog input are focused on simple harmonic input, because the output waveform from a bistable system is greatly distorted. But when treating a multi-frequency analog signal, there is not a simple method. Based on the analysis of existential fitting methods, the cubic spline fitting method, penalty function fitting method and B spline fitting method are proposed. With the theoretical analysis of these methods, statistic character of the error is also discussed. Furthermore, the measure of the output after SR post treatments with multi-frequency input that includes smoothness and stochastic error is also discussed. This article has studied the research on post treatments of bistable stochastic resonance system, which puts emphasis on fitting method and its characteristic. |
