The Entropy Of Hesitant Fuzzy Linguistic Term Set And Its Application In Decision Making

Hesitant fuzzy linguistic term set can reflect the qualitative decision information flexibly and comprehensively,and has been widely used in the field of supply chain management,pattern recognition and medical diagnosis.It has become a hot topic in the research of fuzzy set theory.The entropy is used to measure the uncertainty of fuzzy information,and is also an important research content in fuzzy set theory.In this paper,we study the entropy of hesitant fuzzy linguistic term set and proportional hesitant fuzzy linguistic term set,and put forward a EDAS multi-attribute decision making method based on the proposed entropy measure.This paper is divided into three chapters.In chapter 1,we introduce the research background,development status and related preparatory knowledge of hesitant fuzzy linguistic term sets,proportional hesitant fuzzy linguistic term sets and entropy measures.In chapter 2,we study the entropy of hesitant fuzzy linguistic term set and the EDAS decison making method based the proposed entropy.Firstly,we propose a two-tuple entropy measure(including hesitant entropy and hesitant entropy)based on the fuzziness and hesitation of hesitant fuzzy linguistic term sets,respectively.The construction methods and concrete entropy measures of fuzzy entropy and hesitant entropy are given respectively.Then we propose a unified entropy formula for hesitant fuzzy linguistic term set.Comparison anlysis is made with the existing entropy formulas to illustrate its rationality and superiority.At last,a EDAS method based on the proposed entropy measure is put forward to solve the hesitant fuzzy linguistic multi-attribute decision making problems with unknown weights of criteria.In chapter 3,we study the entropy of a proportional hesitant fuzzy linguistic term set.The axiomatic definition of entropy measure for the proportional hesitant fuzzy linguistic term set is proposed.Then the construction method and a concrete entropy formula are given.The proposed entropy can depict both the fuzziness and hesitation,so can describe comprehensively the uncertainty of proportional hesitant fuzzy linguistic term sets.Finally,the propsoed entropy is applied in the hesitant fuzzy linguistic group decision-making problem.
