Research On The Development Between Huangpu Port And District Based On System Dynamics

In the early stage,port and urban develop interactively.In late,both port and urban compete for space and the traffic condition becomes worse.The contradiction between urban and port appears gradually,which is obvious in old ports.Huangpu port consists of old port and new port.The collection and distribution system of old port is composed of Fengle road ?Gangqian road and Shihua road,which are important parts of road net of Huangpu.Due to urban and port,the traffic condition of road is very bad.Moreover,the old port need more space to develop itself.As a result,the competition of land is worse.Obviously,the contradiction has a bad influence on urban and port.In view of the situation,the paper builds a simulation model based on system dynamics to simulate evolution trend of urban and port.Based on the trend,the paper tries to find out some measures to coordinate the development between urban and port.Firstly,through the research of literatures,summarize the methods and focus when domestic and foreign scholars study the relationship between the port and urban.Secondly,introduce the interaction theory between port and urban;summarize the theory on road congestion.Then give an overview of the development status of urban and port,describe the existing contraction.After this,based on the theory on the system dynamics,analyze the causal relationship among the affecting factors in the port and urban system.On the basis of the model of interactive development,build a system dynamics model considering of the space and road traffic.Through the VENSIM simulation software to simulate the interaction and future trends between port and urban.Then,simulate the trend with different policies which include industrial restructuring ? road construction and modern shipping service industry.According to the basic simulation,the interactive development between Huangpu port and Huangpu district will be strengthened.The contradiction of space will be worse.The construction of road cannot satisfy the growing of traffic volume,which leads to more serious congestion.According to the policies analysis,enhancing the proportion of tertiary industry can promote the interactive development of port and urban effectively.However,the development of tertiary industry can also produce much more traffic volume.Increasing the investment of road construction can reduce the traffic congestion effectively.Speeding up development of modern shipping service industry not only promotes the interactive development of port and urban,but also reduce the traffic congestion.At last,propose some measures and advices to coordinate the development of port and urban system.
