Nowadays, organizations ineluctably face higher complexity in their environments, portrayed by dynamic markets and challenging demands from customers and stakeholders(Crossan&Apaydin,2010).However,there are still many companies like evergreen surviving hundreds of years, such as IBM and Disney. As one of the Fortune's annual World's Most Admired companies,IBM is trumpeting its willingness to embrace change as part of their strategies for staying ahead.Ginni Rometty,EBM's CEO,indicated that innovation is the core competitiveness.Innovations of enterprises depend on their employee innovation ability.Junling Li,the Chief executive officer assistant of Alibaba, said that the sharp and curious perfectionist is necessary to keep innovating.Hoarding rich knowledge is becoming the advantages of employees.Intrinsic motivation is a decisive factor in innovative behavior;without strong intrinsic motivation, individual could not exhibit their potential innovative ability in their daily work(Amabile,1996).Over the last few years, researches have.investigated the psychological mechanisms that bring forth innovative behavior and creativity(Tierney et al.,2002;Luthans&Avolio,2003;Tierney&Farmer,2004,Klein et al.,2006;Zhang et al.,2010).Yet findings from this research are far from complete as they pay very little attention to the effect of psychological ownership, which could result in an increase in employee motivation(Prierce,1991),on innovative behavior. Many scholars believe that people have an innate need to possess(Burk,1900;Darling,1937;Kline&France,1899;Porteous,1976;Weil,1952).As a state of the mind, psychological ownership(Pierce et al.,1991)is that state in which individuals feel as though the target of ownership(material or immaterial in nature)or a piece of it is "theirs"(i.e.,"It is MINE!").Knowledge has served an irreplaceable relationship with the development of organizations. With the value of knowledge-based employee standing out,to protect and keep their advantage or position, employees gradually develop strong knowledge-based psychological ownership. What impact does knowledge-based psychological ownership on innovative behavior? We presented a moderated mediation model to test the effect of knowledge-based psychological ownership on innovative behavior.Innovative behavior not only comes from individuals'innovative potential, but also is influenced by their social interaction. Therefore, the article adopted knowledge sharing as a mediator to test the influence of knowledge-based psychological ownership on innovative behavior.Furthermore, due to the increasing importance attached to corporate social responsibilities and business ethics, leaders are more than ever required to behave ethically.Research also has found that ethical leadership is positive with innovative behavior and knowledge sharing(Tu&Lu,2013;Ma,Cheng&Ribbens,2013;Pucetaite,2014;Gu,Tang&Jiang,2015).Thurs,the article adopted ethical leadership as a boundary condition to test the moderating effect. After reviewing related researches,we put forward our model and hypothesis, issue questionares, analyze data and gain the following conclusions.Knowledge-based psychological ownership is positive with knowledge sharing;knowledge sharing mediates the relationship between knowledge-based psychological ownership and innovative behavior;ethical leadership buffers the negative effect of knowledge-based psychological ownership on knowledge sharing, and moderated the mediated relationship through knowledge sharing.
