Stock raising, consisting of main part of agriculture in china, plays an significantly important role in it. Nowadays, associated with the fast development of agriculture, the main way, in which can help farmer to increase incomes, improve the level of life, is to develop stock raising fast. However pig cultivation accounts for most part of stock raising, so it will contribute a lot to the development of stock raising in the future. During the development of pig raising, it will tend to be large-scale and modernized in the future. This present paper calculate the cost of different cultivation models, based on the current theoretical parameters, and take an example of 1200 sows from a modernized swine farm. Then counting the benefit from these models. There are two models:traditional cultivation and associated cultivation in modern stock raising farm. The whole design and plan of this study: two factories that can provide 1200 sows were selected, and the cultivation models were tradition and joint, respectively. There were four areas in each farm, including production areas, assistant production area, isolation area(isolation house; dealing with shit, anatomy and dealing for corpse) and the life area for works and managers. The main difference of two models is production area. The production area of traditional models is 34392 m2, however that of joint is 19015 m2, which saved 15377 m2 compared with the former. In addition, The investment is also different. For traditional models, The investment is 23,741,700 yuan, however, the joint's is 3,177,300 yuan. It is obvious that traditional model cost more than joint. Due to the advanced equipment in joint model, it can save about 4,336,200 yuan per year. The result shows that joint models for pig cultivation is more cheaper and efficiency than traditional models.
