SZ Bank Competitiveness Evaluation And Promote Countermeasures Research

As city commercial banks play an important role in the financial system of our country,their value and influence become increasingly eye-catching.SZ Bank,as a young member of city commercial banks,features short-term development and smaller scale.Under such background and trend as increasing downward pressure,accelerating market risks,deepening liberalization of market interest rate and growing competitiveness among financial institutions,SZ Bank is faced with grim conditions regarding its continue development,along with great competitive strength from other financial institutions.Therefore,the topic of studying the promotion of competitiveness in SZ Bank is practically meaningful and valuable.This thesis elaborates the source of competitive thinking,the definition of enterprise competitiveness and the connotation of competitiveness for city banks,summarizes some conclusions and theoretical results on studying competitiveness at home and abroad,references the relevant achievements and studying methods and builds a index system for studying competitiveness level of city banks.It finally reveals the primary factors that affect the competitiveness level of SZ Bank by analyzing the index system.Index system is built through selecting 26 representative commercial banks as samples to analyze a lot of quantitative indexes including assets,indebted scale,and capital adequacy rate among others.After analyzing and calculating those indexes with factorial analysis,it comes to a conclusion that 6 indexes are influencing the competitiveness level of commercial banks and the scores,rankings as well as overall scores and rankings of 27 banks on different indexes are given.It concludes the main factors that affect the competitiveness of SZ Bank in the end.At the same time,base on the SWOT analysis method,the thesis figures out the advantages and disadvantages,as well as opportunities and threats that SZ Bank is encountering and comprehensively analyzes the present condition of competitive level in SZ Bank.Based on the combination of SWOT analysis and empirical analysis,it draws a general conclusion influencing the competitiveness of SZ Bank,puts forward suggestions on promoting competitiveness,provides feasible analytical methods and specific schemes for the reform and transformation of SZ Bank,not only bringing rapid and sound development for SZ Bank,but also necessary reference and guidance for other city banks.The main conclusion of this study is that if SZ Bank admires to gain the initiative and edge in its development and competition,it is urgent to change its traditional conception and specific market position,accelerate transformation and upgrading by establishing fine-grained management mechanism and transforming it into intensive development,increase profit level,raise competitiveness and simultaneously enhance the construction of governance capability and improve some indispensable hardware and software foundations.
