Study On The Risk Management Of Depository Bank In The Provident Fund Business In Suzhou City

Depository bank is a bridge between the Housing Provident Fund Management Center and the remit company in the provident fund business.It is important for the stability of the provident fund system and the vital interest of the remit companies.However,with the lack of risk management,risks often occur and bring damage to both parties.Thus,risk management measures must be improved and risk preference must be rectified when the commercial bank conducts the provident fund business,in order to decrease the commission loss in the intermediary business of the bank,reduce risks in the provident fund business and ensure the security of fund accounts of companies.This thesis is a research of risk management of commercial banks which is entrusted with provident fund business under the existing mode by using the theory of Enterprise Risk Management and Risk Decision.First of all,analyze the mode for conducting the provident fund business of the bank and summarize the resources of risks.The conclusion is that the main risk is the operational risk for transfer of Suzhou Housing Provident Fund Management Center by analyzing risk resources.In the second place,apply self-analysis to find specific operational risks in the business process and to confirm how important of personnel factor,internal process,system defect and external event by comprehensively evaluating the extent and the frequency of the impact.Analyze reasons of the four kinds of risk factors and dig out problems and defects in risk management.Last but not the least,in order solve the above problems and defects,this thesis proposes improvement measures of strengthening the impact of every party in risk management,lowering tolerance of risks,standardizing processes and intelligentizing systems,improving information symmetry.
