The Research On The Difference Of The Yangtze River Delta Regional Innovation Efficiency

The Yangtze River Delta is in the industrial upgrading progresses,the critical period of steady build coordinated regional economic development,how to implement the regional economy as a whole is fast,sustained and healthy development of this period was a daunting task,but as the internal driving force for economic growth,the role of technological innovation in promoting economic growth in the increasingly significant.Innovation Efficiency in Yangtze Delta Region and its internal differences,the exploration area to enhance innovation and efficiency route,the Yangtze River Delta region to improve innovation capability,accelerate our innovative nation-building process,is undoubtedly important.In summarizing the results of innovation efficiency in domestic and foreign scholars on the basis of,firstly,the Yangtze River Delta city of innovation efficiency16 as a starting point to study the innovation efficiency Yangtze River Delta region in2004 using DEA-Malmquist index method-internal differences and changes in 2013,and divided further difference in Jiangsu,Zhejiang,Shanghai analysis,the study found:(1)innovation efficiency Yangtze River Delta region as a whole to increase slightly,mainly from technical efficiency;(2)16 little difference between urban innovation efficiency,and showed a geographical feature;(3)innovation efficiency Shanghai and Jiangsu eight cities grew rapidly,relatively slow seven cities in Zhejiang.On this basis,the trend of a more dynamic response 16 urban innovation efficiency differences,we use ? convergence and ? convergence test test studied the Yangtze River Delta and Jiangsu eight cities and seven cities in Zhejiang convergence of internal innovation efficiency,the results showed that:(1)innovation efficiency Yangtze River Delta,eight cities in Jiangsu,Zhejiang and seven cities showed a convergence features;(2)technical efficiency and innovation efficiency of the three regions have substantially the same trajectory of characteristics and trends,and technological advances were divergent state.Then studied the effects of innovation efficiency in Yangtze River,the results showed that:(1)the industrial structure,the quality of workers,external openness and government support have significant positive effects on innovation and efficiency of the Yangtze River Delta region,and the impact of regional infrastructure not significant;(2)the quality of workers and the opening of eight cities in Jiangsu significant impact on innovation efficiency,while industrial structure and government support seven cities in Zhejiang impact on innovation efficiency significantly.Finally,this paper gives policy recommendations based on this:(1)to improve the human capital area,a talent innovation potential;(2)optimize the industrial structure,promote the development of high-tech industries;(3)study,and research,accelerate the industrialization of scientific and technological achievements;(4)strengthen the government's support,improve capital efficiency;(5)expansion of foreign trade,strengthening inter-regional technical exchanges.
