The F Group is located in Nuremberg Germany. It has eight factories in the world. The core business of F group is providing Prism, exterior mirror and automotive mirror module to the automotive company. The group has two factories in China, the one is in Shanghai, and the other is located in Chengdu. The F Company in China expects to get success in strategy by its 125-year technology experiences, marketing methods and sales channel. According as the marketing share data, the prism of the F Company occupied 56%and exterior mirror occupied 43% in the marketing of the automotive mirror industry, from the sight of the marketing share, the group is leading position in the industry. From the data of the marketing share of the China, because of the international environment changing, the economics growth of China becomes slowly and the high level management cannot adapt the sales mode in China, the marketing share started reducing from 2012. From the sales data, the sales quantity was increasing slower than before, the F Company is under of the state of economic contraction, but the management level of the F Company decided to improve capacity of the exterior mirror, and cost much cash to retrofit the coating line and build the new product line; They purchased two Prism product lines without technology promotion, that made the capacity of the Prism enhance 25%; on the other hand, the F Company invest 5 million to build a new cosmetic mirror line in Chengdu plant.The article analyzes capacity matching strategy, and describes organization, structure of the production, process of the production and the status of the marketing of the F Company, that lets the readers can understand the current status of capacity, and to make and analyze the new capacity investment plan according as capital status, sales history and forecast, product profits of F Company. The article will provide reasonable suggestion and the solution of the capacity investment to satisfy the sales forecast plan, and the article makes a general capacity investment theory to provide guidance for the automotive mirror industry.The article provides the general conclusion for the capacity matching strategy after making analysis and summary for current capacity of F Company:the company should make the standard capacity strategy process, calculate the capacity requirement according as the accurate forecast data, during the process the company had to consider of the relative constraint and calculate the gap between the actual setting and forecast request, and then make a series of multi-solution for the new capacity strategy, at the final point to get one approved capacity matching strategy.
