Financial leasing has had a long history of 60 years since it was appeared in America in 1950s. Financial leasing is a cross-industry and trans-department borderline industry which has become the useful tool of promotion, financing, investment and asset-management. As a channel of financing which companies may choice, financial leasing is the second main channel of financing (The first channel of financing is the bank credit) and it is growing rapidly in the world.In China, after entered into Chinese market in 1980', financial leasing has stepped into an important period of rapid development after the 30 years twists and turns, the competition is keener and keener. So through the analysis of situation, making useful competition strategy and establishing the advantages of competition are very significant for the survival and development. Using GT Leasing Company as an example, we will carry on research to provide valuable reference for development and management of financial leasing companies.The registered capital of GT Leasing Company is 3 billion CYN. GT Leasing Company has been built in high-tech developmental zone in Jinan of Shandong Province in February 2007. GT Leasing Company is one of the native financial leasing companies whose shareholders are State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Shandong Provincial Government and XX Group. The scale of capital of GT Leasing Company is at top of the list of financial leasing companies in China. The business of GT Leasing Company is growing rapidly and it has formed the preliminary systematized business area. But the differentiation advantage is not obvious and the powerful core competitiveness has not been formed.The opportunities which GT Leasing Company faces are new normal condition of development of economic promoting demand of financial leasing, difficulties of financing driving demand of financial leasing, government attaching more and more importance to financial leasing, urbanization and industrialization providing space of development, legal environment becoming more perfect, augment of degree of cognition from society of financial leasing. Meanwhile, the threatens which GT Leasing Company faces are competition becoming intense, diversification of financing channels, increasing of risks resulted from economic downturn, risks of variation of rate of interest.The internal strengths of GT Leasing Company are deep shareholders background, abundant capital, diversification of financing channels, fund of World Bank which has low interest, information-based system supporting development of company, mature management team, perfect measures of risk control, innovative business model. The internal disadvantages of GT Leasing Company are channel of funds, cost of funds, disadvantages of revenue, business network not covering nationwide, mechanism which is lack of flexibility, lack of attraction to top-level talents.On the basis of above-mentioned analysis and evaluation, we may draw a conclusion that GT Leasing Company should carry out centralization strategy which focus on commercial real estate, various kind of devices, infrastructure, field of energy conservation and environment protection. In this way, GT Leasing Company will establish core advantage effectively, form unique business model to break out of an encirclement from competition.In order to execute strategy effectively, this text protocols supportive safeguard measure of organization, products, culture, human resource, fund, risk management and construction of informatization for leasing companies. Firstly, improve function structure and guarantee the implement of strategies. Secondly, innovate product and lead implement of strategies. Thirdly, create culture of enterprise and drive implement of strategies. Fourthly, strengthen human resources and strengthen implement of strategies. Fifthly, integrate financing channels and support implement of strategies. Sixthly, keep pace with the times and perfect risk management. Last but not the least, enhance construction of information and support implement of strategies.
