With the deepening of the reform and opening-up in our country, state-owned enterprise reform has been the important proposition of meeting the market economic challenges. The economic is developing rapidly, at the same time, S power company has to make higher level of power system planning, power system management and power supply service due to customer requirement with differential development. Especially on power supply service, company was expected to provide more transparent, humanized and quick service to customers. Respect of power supply quality, also customer have higher requirement about power supply reliability, voltage fluctuation and frequency.In this background, S company needs to improve management level actively and has self-management thought adapting to changes of market. To improve self-management thought, lean management comes to the efficient tool for management thought conversion and updating the backward management method. Therefore, S company leads lean management though into company management from strategy level to basic management. With active improvement, S company could adapt to rapidly changing market and meet customer requirement eventually.On the basis of theoretical analysis, this paper analyzes the feasibility of S company to introduce lean management concept, and analyzes the PSET and SWOT of s company, and analyzes the current situation of the management of the status.On the basis of the above analysis, this paper carried out lean management of S company’s strategic level, benchmarking analysis and operation of the substation and the creation of the management. Among them, in lean management thinking under the guidance of the strategic goal of analysis, of S company’s strategic target, the construction index system were studied; in benchmarking, s company benchmarking background, benchmarking of obtained results and own lean were studied under the guidance of the improved scheme; in substation operation case studies,S company substation operation is improved, and the feasibility of the analysis, and put forward the improvement scheme; of the last section of the fourth chapter of lean thinking under the guidance of the management innovation case is studied, and the new specific measures of management innovation.
