Research On Agro-tourist Satisfaction Of Xinsha Island

As an important component of agriculture industry, agro-tourism has experienced rapid development in our country in recent years, and a comprehensive understanding of agro-tourist satisfaction is essential to the sustainable development of agro-tourism. However, existing studies on agro-tourism in our country have been much focusing on its planning and industrialization, and empirical research on agro-tourist satisfaction has received little academic attention. Drawing on evidence from Xinsha Island of Fuyang, this thesis attempts to carry out a systematic in-depth analysis of agro-tourist satisfaction based on consumer satisfaction(CS) theory. The thesis collects data via questionnaire survey and analyzes data with the help of SPSS 16. By using T test and ANOVA analysis it examines the differences of CS variables by gender, and the variations of CS variables depending on tourist attributes. The thesis then sets up and modifies the formula for the overall tourist satisfaction by using factor analysis. With the empirical evidence fully examined, the paper finally gives an overall assessment of agro-tourist satisfaction for Xinsha Island, and offers suggestions for its further development according the assessment result.
