Pension System In Kazakhstan

With the trend of global aging, whether traditional pension system is beneficial to sustainable development becomes a very important problem that we should pay attention to. The basic model and operational way of old aged pension system in many countries have been reformed with economic development. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, social security system and pension system in the Republic of Kazakhstan also come with a series of difficulties. Facing the social status quo and economic development needs, the government of Kazakhstan carried out a deep reform on their pension system. They put the pension reform in the core position of its economic reform so that, as they expected, this can drive other areas'reform in the country.In this paper, the reform of the pension system in Kazakhstan is studied, and the reform of the pension system is analyzed. First of all, the paper describes the historical evolution of the pension system in Kazakhstan, and then expounds the background and contents of the reform of the pension system in Kazakhstan. On the basis of this, the results and problems of the reform of the pension system in Kazakhstan are analyzed. Finally, the Enlightenment of Kazakhstan's pension system reform is put forward.
