Research On Credit Risk Of Credit Card Asset Securitization

With the maturity and development of asset securitzation market and credit card business in China, credit card asset securitization, as a new type of financial business, is developing rapidly. It is able to improve the flow of commercial bank's assets, and it is able to disperse and transfer credit risk, therefore, there are demand and power factors for China's commercial banks in the implementation of credit card asset securitization. While credit card asset securitization itself can not resolve the credit risk, only to disperse and transfer, so it has important practical significance to research on credit risk of credit card asset securitization.This paper introduces and deeply analyzes the process, products and trends of credit card securities, then gets the operation mechanism and development status of bank credit card asset securitzation, this new business. Through the detailed elaboration on credit risk features and pattern of manifestation in the process of asset securitization, this paper points out the asset base is the main source of credit risk, and the credit risk measurement is carried out on the basic assets of the first credit card asset securitization products in China. On this basis, combined with China's actual situation, this paper puts forwards some suggestions on credit risk control of credit card assets securitization.
