Research On Supply Chain Coordination Under The Condition Of Incomplete Information On Return Policy

With the rapid development of economic globalization and information technology,enterprises are facing a much more complicated and fickle market and the competition become more and more intensely.The competition among enterprises has now become the competition of supply chains.In order to gain the advantages in the competition,members of the supply chain make a coordinating mechanism by providing the appropriate information or contract to realize a collaboration between upstream and downstream enterprises.Information is an decisive for supply chain members,however,it is often difficult for enterprise to obtain the date of demand distribution of products due to the rapid-changing market and updating products.But it is much easier to estimated the upper and lower bounds of demands,customer expectations and variance information through the date of past sales.Therefore,under the condition of the difficulty of knowing the demand distribution of information market for enterprises,the paper studies the supply chain coordination problem with partial information by Robust Optimization Method.This paper studies the supply chain coordination problems by considering return policy,on one condition,enterprises know the information of customer expectations and demand variance;and the other,enterprises know the information of upper and lower bounds of demand.This paper also study the problem of supply chain coordination decision between supplier and retailer,considering decentralized decision-making,centralized decision-making and revenue sharing contract,respectively by using the Robust Optimization Method to get the explicit solution of the above three kinds of situations.Finally,the paper analysis the impact of the change of the given information and the sharing coefficient on the optimal decision of the supplier and the retailer's by numerical experiment,as well as the collaborative performance of supplier,retailer and supply chain.Research shows that the profit of supply chain with revenue sharing contract is the highest,followed by the centralized decision,and the decentralized supply chain system is the lowest,no matter in any kind of information mode.
