major cities at home and abroad regard the development of urban agriculture as an important direction of development of modern urban agriculture,and achieved remarkable results.Development effectiveness of urban agriculture changed the original way people think about urban agriculture,for example,positions,functions,development goals and direction of development,so that urban agriculture has become the main development direction and we always focus to select urban agriculture.Zhengzhou City,as the capital city of Henan province in China’s main grain-producing region,is toward an international metropolis into the ranks.Urban agriculture has become an essential part of sustainable development in metropolitan stage,Zhengzhou City in recent years have begun to develop and practice related to urban agriculture.With the development of Zhengzhou City,urban agriculture,some progress in all areas at the same time,many development bottleneck has become more prominent,such as the development goals are not precise,the mode selection is not clear and so on.Therefore,exploring Zhengzhou urban agriculture development conditions and mode selection is very urgent and important.How Zhengzhou City,according to their specific circumstances and their own advantages,seize the policy of nation-building the Central Plains and Urban Agglomeration Airport Economic Comprehensive Experimental Zone,take advantage of transportation and other opportunities,according to its own characteristics and local conditions to develop urban agriculture and its development model,developed in line with their own development urban agriculture development strategy,not only conducive to the further development of urban agriculture in Zhengzhou City,but also to improve the ecological environment is of great importance.In this paper,by literature review,comparative analysis and other methods for the development of urban agriculture in Zhengzhou made a
