In nowadays, the rhythm of production lead-time in auto-industry becomes more compactly, and this situation requires more and more fine-tuning of auto-parts logistics management in supply chain. auto-manufactures tends to use standard packages as the main carriers in parts delivery, and its categories and ways of logistics management can cause a huge effectiveness in the efficiency of material delivery and costs.In traditional concepts, some suppliers handle their materials with one-time packages,some suppliers use different types of packages for the same kind of parts, and these parts always need to be repacked before they are sent into plants, and then turned into a lot of package wastes after material consumed, companies always find them lost in the problem of package lost because lack of package recycling system, so companies tends to purchase packages in steady stream.Auto-companies always delay their pick up time for the volume of package could not equal to “job per hour”, as the same time, they always pay higher stock space, equipment and manual works for packages, so study for auto-package application and management is very important.This dissertation takes package management in auto-industry as research target, integrated theory and practice as research method. First of all, on the basis of the acknowledgement in package management in domestics and overseas, organizing some of the research dissertation. Secondary, through the investigation on current package management in UA, put forward the concept of package management standardization from the ways of system optimization. then establishing package tracking system by information collection and analyzing the prerequisite factors in manage systems. Finally, formulating a series of optimized model for centralized delivery and circular pick up, and these models are proved to be practical and effectiveness. The fruit of this research dissertation could provide a reference for package management optimization in auto-industry, and also could become a guideline for improving the rate of package utilization and the quality of logistics services.
