Rural commercial banks are local financial institutions which are reformed by rural credit cooperatives. Rural, commercial banks are important part of China's financial system. The development of rural commercial banks in south Jiangsu is very rapid and the related financial business is also very successful. But those financial businesses cannot be achieved without the support of employee in IT department. Because of the lack of effective incentive mechanism, the working enthusiasm of those people is constantly weakening, and also the working efficiency is declining, even worse, the phenomenon of brain drain appeared.Employee of IT department is one kind of human resources and it is also a strategic resource of modern banks.They are the most important roles for the bank development.And effective incentives and assessment programs can stimulate the enthusiasm if employee in IT department.It can also improve their work efficiency and make them more creative.The author got the first-hand information by the investigation and research on incentive mechanism of employee in IT department of Wuxi rural commercial bank and other rural commercial banks in south Jiangsu.The new design of incentive mechanism was on the basis of analysis and diagnosis,so it would be not only relevant but also meaningful.Chapter one demonstrates the background and the meaning of the research,including the research method and creative point.Chapter two introduces the theory relate to incentive mechanism.Chapter three describes the situation about the rural commercial banks in south Jiangsu and the IT department of these banks.Chapter four analyses the current situation of incentive mechanism and summarizes the problem appeared.Chapter five makes a new design and optimization of incentive mechanism from the salary system, assessment system, promotion system and training system. Theemployee is IT department can find their growing goal and motivation from the new incentive mechanism.Chapter six summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of the new incentive mechanism.
