EPC Mode Chemical Project Contractor Risk Management

EPC contracting model in our country is mainly used in electric power, petroleum, chemical and other industrial buildings. In Process of EPC projects unforeseen factors and more, the inevitable risks greater. But most of the risk is borne by the general contractor. A number of areas related to the design, procurement, and construction, more than professional. The key to success is EPC general contractor model can effectively control the risk management to enable the project on time, quality, quantity completed, to achieve the desired owners.In this paper, the theory bases on the risk management analysis and research. "Force a Centre and coal transportation system" EPC turnkey projects as an example of the risk management of the project were analyzed. Research ideas presented in this paper is to risk identification, risk assessment and then discussed, and finally proposed risk response strategies. On the basis of project risk identification, risk assessment project to establish a model based on multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, analysis and study of the risk factors, develop appropriate risk response strategies according to the study, the risk of the project will be implemented within a reasonable range inside, to ensure the smooth completion of the construction project management objectives and tasks. Research papers enriched the theory of risk management of the project; similar to other domestic chemical project has certain reference value.
