Analysis Of Influence Factors Of Development Of Low Carbon Tourism For Residents Based On The Survey In Hefei

Recently, global climate warming leads to deterioration of ecological environment. Accordingly, the concept of "low-carbon economy" was proposed firstly by British Prime Minister Tony Blair in 2003, and immediately aroused the world's attention. It has been proved that the pattern of "high pollution, high energy consumption and high carbon emissions" cannot satisfy the requirements of healthy development of society and economy. Therefore, as a completely new pattern of economy development, the low-carbon economy with the characteristics of "low pollution, low energy consumption and low carbon emissions" was put forward. Most of countries in the world give positive responses to low carbon economy, and our country also put it as national development strategy.Tourism industry, known as "smokeless industry", plays a more and more important role in the whole national economic development. As the response to low-carbon economy, low carbon tourism becomes a trend and research focus. This paper reviews articles by domestic and foreign researchers on "low-carbon economy" and "low-carbon tourism", summarizes and defines specific meanings of the two concepts. And then, from the view of tourists, based on the study objective, this paper design a questionnaire in reference to other studies. Thorough Delphi method, the questionnaire was analyzed and the factors affecting residents' low carbon tourism were found. Further more, the adjacency matrix of the factors were constructed by interpretive structural model. And the reachability matrix was calculated by compute, grade division of the model was performed on the results. The relations between factor were clarified.This study reached conclusions by questionnaire analysis and interpretation with model as following:First, the guidance function of travel agency, consumption idea of resident, and people's awareness of "low carbon" are three surface layer factors which most directly affect the development of residents' low carbon tourism.Second, personal income, infrastructure construction of low carbon in scenic area and citizen quality are superficial layer factors which affect the development of residents' low carbon tourism.Third, educational background, age, and propaganda dynamics from government, media and school are middle-level factors which affect the development of residents' low carbon tourism.Forth, policy support by government and restrain by laws and regulations are the deepest factors which affect the development of residents'low carbon tourism.At last, this thesis proposed reasonable advices on low carbon tourism development from the views of government, enterprises and tourists, and pointed out the limitation and future research expectation of the study.
