Global warming caused by human activities has become to be an indisputable fact; various countries in the world got to a common view that global warming is mostly due to human absurd produce activity and lifestyle. Nowadays, how to cope with the effect of this fact gradually become the hot topics. The tourist industry of Jiangxi province has a rapid development in recent years. In the meanwhile, it has become an important strength that promoting economy. Although the energy consumption of tourism takes up a little proportion, tourism has closely linked to other industries, the energy conservation and emission reduction of tourism will not only reduce the carbon emission itself, but also drive the related industry optimization and upgrading.This study based on Low Carbon Economy theory, Kuznets curve, Tourism Sustainable Development theory, Logarithmic Mean Division Index method and so on. In this study, I use the qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis method; analyze the carbon emission of tourism in Jiangxi Province and its driving forces.Firstly, I applied the mathematical model to estimate the energy consumption and carbon emission of tourism, then I made a concretely analysis of it. The result shows that the energy consumption and carbon emission has a rapid increase at last decade. The increase mainly comes from tourist traffic, it accounted for eighty percent. The tourist lodging is the second constituent part. The tourist activity occupy a small part, but the growth trend we cannot be ignored.Secondly, I analyzed the carbon intensity of Jiangxi’s tourism. On this basis, I analyzed the decoupling relationship between carbon intensity and economy. The consequence reveals that the decoupling relationship is well. It presents relative decoupling appears in most years and no decoupling appears in few years.Once again, I utilized the Kaya equality and put the influence factors into four parts. There are carbon coefficient effect, energy intensity effect, economic scale effect and population effect. Afterwards, I use the Logarithmic Mean Division Index model to analyze each factor. The outcome shows that population effect is the major driving force, carbon coefficient effect and energy intensity effect have inhibiting effect to some extent, economic scale effect change from positive effect to negative effect.Finally, I put forward the countermeasure and suggestion about low-carbon development of Jiangxi tourism. ①Collocate the traffic resource reasonably, optimize transportation structure; ②Generalize the energy-saving technology on tourist facilities and tourist accommodation; ③Publicize the idea of low-carbon development and environmental protection; ④Take advantage of ecologic dominance, build low-carbon tourist attraction.
