Liaoshen Region Catastrophe Risk Insurance Research And Analysis

China is one of the countries which have suffers most serious and frequent natural disasters. To avoid the lost from serious disasters is the most severe challenge for us. China has a broad territory span. North part of China suffers less natural disasters compared to south, geology climate and agricultural hazard has brought huge economy and spiritual damage for the people in north.According to the bureau of civil affairs’ statistic show that in recent years, china’s natural disasters bring us enormous economic losses as high as 100 billion Yuan each year. Because of accelerate pace of life and increasing population density the catastrophe risk is not weaking but increased.However the ability to resist catastrophe risk hasn’t strengthened. So how to build a prefect and effective catastrophe insurance system is imminent. The core of this paper is how to build a perfect catastrophe insurance system under the leads of government, the execution by insurance company and cooperation with the masses of people.The survey of the paper is based on the analyses from PICC, PAIC, and some other authorities and government agency’s comments about the current catastrophe risk insurance system. It has a comprehensive analyze about the existing problems and have given some specific suggestions according to the problems.First of all, the study has developed a survey, and 320 questionnaires have been sent out. 300 questionnaires have been analyzed by SPSS 19.0. And some valid data have been collected.Secondly, according to the data from survey, some problems have been found out such as the government is not very active in perfect the insurance system; the insurance law is not completed.In the end the paper have summarized some comprehensive suggestions for improve the catastrophe insurance system in four aspects, Such as to cultivate talents for catastrophe insurance system, to compete the catastrophe insurance clauses.This paper has analyzed the current insurance system of Liaoning province which aims to search a better catastrophe insurance system, to give prefect service for the people in north part of China. As writer is one of the employees in insurance system hope can apply these theories to the daily work, and get attention and focus by government and senior leaders of insurance company therefore make these theories to be effective.
