As the development of the economy, the status of inventory is rising in the enterprise. As an important part of the supply chain, inventory plays an important role of balancing the logistics procurement and production consumption. However, behind the development of economic, the enterprise inventory's problem has become increasingly acute, and it gradually becomes the main obstacle of achieving the enterprise sustainable development. As a result, optimizing inventory structure and reducing inventory costs, has become an important link of saving the whole enterprise's cost and an effective means of keeping the industry competitiveness.Zhangjiakou coal mining machinery co., LTD is a typical enterprise in the field of coal mining mechanical equipment manufacturing, and high inventory cost has become the biggest obstacle to the enterprise development, so the research of the enterprise inventory optimization has a vital significance to the sustainable development of the industry.This paper takes the raw material storage of Zhangjiakou coal mining machinery co., LTD as the research objective, and according to the actual situation of the enterprise inventory, firstly it builds a grey clustering evaluation of ABC management model.And it selects procurement lead time, the number of suppliers, customer specified, requirement attributes, functionality, unit value of material and the inventory costs as the evaluation indexes to classify materials. Secondly, we will use neural network to evaluate the established grey clustering evaluation of ABC management model, and take the top 10 kinds of material, which has participated in the evaluation in this paper, as the training sample, the after 10 kinds of materials as the test sample, and take the comprehensive score through the grey clustering of ABC management evaluation as the expected value, the result of the evaluation of the test, then we will prove the validity of the established model in this paper. Finally, according to the A level and B level materials, we will put forward the corresponding inventory strategies, and set up an inventory model, which parameters for order quantity, using genetic algorithm to calculate the safety stock, and the optimal order quantity of the A level and B level materials.
