Family Farm Development Research For Luan City

In the process to achieve the agricultural modernization gradually, which has given the birth of new type of agricultural business entity such as family farm, specialized cooperative and leading enterprises. Family farm as a new type of agricultural business entity has played an important role in the promotion of agricultural modernization. Family farm on a moderate scale show great advantages and will be the main mode of China agriculture development in the future. On one hand, it is scale moderately that helps to adjust the layout easily. Also, higher agricultural productivity more likely process to large-scale merchandise production. Therefore, family farm facilitate farmers' income, economic and social benefit. Others, this family farm avoids the disadvantages of "JunTian contracting system" that based on small-scale production, and maintains a vital form of family business.For the past few years, the accelerated transferring rural land and increased surplus rural laborer shift have created favorable conditions for concentration of landholding and scale management. For this reason, family farms have rapid developed at present, the development scale and quality has basically achieved significant effect. However, on the whole, the new type of agricultural business entity management pattern of family farm still suffering a lot of problems. For instance, low popularizing rate in the vast rural, conception is fuzzy, standard is not unified, management philosophy has not established, socialized service system has not completed, government's policy support is relatively weak and lack of pertinence and tendencies.This paper has adopted literature research methods to expound family farm research trends from both home and abroad, which clearly prove the feasibility of family farm development and also expose its' advantages and urgent problems. Furthermore, this paper also based on extensive investigation, which involves design questionnaire and visit family farm in the Yuan District, Huoqiu and Jinzhai County. Based on this extensive research to identify the difference of several types of family farm in Luan city according to the aspect of development present situation, development results, management mode and social service system. The results investigate that family farm exists numbers of problems such as land transfer difficulties, financing difficulties, imperfect social service system, incomplete financial system, lack of professional experts, lack of unified access and exit mechanism, unclear definition of the family farm, etc. Therefore, all the negative factors restrict the development of the Luan family farm.After integrated the basic principles of management, agricultural economics with innovative thinking,this paper gives recommendations as followed:(1) to perfect the land transfer system (2) to establish standard of family farm and elimination mechanism (3) to strength the government policy support (4) to expand financing channels (5) to improve the socialized service system (6) to promote farmers' comprehensive qualities (7) to create innovative financial system (8) to found a family farm association, etc.
