| With the rapid development of computer science technology, Chinese enterprises are in high demand of information technology. SAP ERP enterprise resource planning software can help enterprise to achieve informatization, and hence bring them economic benefits and build strength of competition, are adopted more and more by Chinese customer. However, it's not easy to implement SAP ERP project as it's huge and complicated. Even though enterprises invest much human resources, material resources and financial resources, they still get a high probability of failure. Once failure, the investment were all gone, and made bad impact on enterprise's management system and finance system.This thesis mainly uses the method of case study, research the case of'A'company failed in implementation of SAP ERP project. With the perspective of SAP company-the party B of the software contract, to make detail analysis for the main failure reasons. Firstly, the sign of contract is not detailed and not handover to all the involved members; Secondly, the defects of SAP ERP localization; Thirdly, the training and propagate to end users is not enough. Then find the reasons for that big failure, provide corresponding management solutions for them. As software provider, what SAP could do to help customers to overcome the main points of ERP implementation? This thesis aimed to help more than more Chinese customer successfully and smoothly implement SAP ERP products, to help them make full use of this brilliant software product. Also help them to make more profit and revenue. Meanwhile, it's an opportunity to help SAP company better accommodate Chinese market, hence enlarge market share in China and compete with other competitors home and abroad. |
