With the rapid development of manufacturing industry and gradual transformation of production pattern, enterprises is faced with new challenges. If companies want to build their own advantage in the increasingly fierce competition, they must improve their own competitiveness, such as on-time delivery, improving customer satisfaction and quick response to market demand. Therefore, to develop a reasonable plan based on customer orders is the key of manufacturing management, at the same time enterprise's information construction should be strengthened. According to the production packing problem of liquor products in the laboratory, this thesis put forward a multi-machines scheduling problem based on make to order pattern.First of all, based on the order-driven manufacturing operations processes, make clear the major phases of the production plan:(1)the selection of orders; 2) production planning and scheduling. The order selection is based on production material limited constraints. The implementation of order selection thanks to the study of analytic hierarchy process. Based on the sorting orders select the orders which production can be satisfied. Production planning and scheduling is to study the problem of splitting order into sub-orders to achieve sub-orders scheduling under the limited production capacity constraint. Based on the JIT philosophy this thesis establish a production plan and scheduling model based on the earliness/tardiness cost which goal is to minimize production costs, inventory costs, deferred punishment. Genetic algorithm is chosen as the model's solving tool. Then through the simulation experiment discusse the performance index under the changes of different parameters in the model and different objective function affected by tardiness penalty coefficient. Final demand analysis of production planning management system was carried out and make clear the system function modules and their implementation.The proposed model based on earliness / tardiness cost of production planning and scheduling is superior to only consider one of the tardiness penalties model, effectively reducing the total operating costs of the enterprise. While discussing the influence of different parameters on the scheduling model, found that companies limited production capacity is bigger is better and customer order is dividing the amount of batch split the bigger the better, which helps reduce batch split, can simplify the scheduling space, optimal scheduling result.
