As frequency diverse array(FDA)shows better results in some applications duo to its small amount of frequency increment compared to the carrier frequency across the array elements,FDA has received much attention in radar and communication fields.Radar jamming technology is a key technology in modern electronic warfare.For these reasons,this thesis studies radar jamming methods based on FDA.The main contributions of this thesis are summarized as follows:(1)Studied pulse Doppler(PD)radar jamming based on FDA: It studies various jamming patterns for PD radar based on FDA.Firstly,an FDA jamming model is proposed for PD radar and the traditional barrage jamming based on FDA is studied,which usually produces unsatisfactory results.In addition,several deceptive jamming methods based on FDA are further proposed: Time-delayed forwarding can produce range false targets;High-frequency increment between array elements can generate range false targets and low-frequency can generate velocity false targets;Noise convolution jamming based on FDA can produce more ideal covering false tagets.Experimental results show that,FDA jammer has better protection for multiple moving targets,while compared to phased array,it can form multi-false targets even totaly covering false targets in range-velocity dimensions,in order to increase the probablility of deception for PD radar effectively.(2)Studied SAR jamming based on FDA: The traditional active noise jamming is low effectiveness because it can't obtain the relevant processing gain of SAR.This thesis establishes a SAR deceptive jamming model based on FDA and derives the jamming echo based on FDA jammer.By using range-Doppler(RD)imaging algorithm,the SAR imaging process of FDA jamming signals are derived.Through the compression of range and azimuth,the pulse compression is eventually achieved.This thesis also discusses non-interval frequency offsets on SAR imaging for more realistic false targets.Experimental results show that,the proposed SAR deceptive jamming with FDA can produce multiple distance-oriented false targets to achieve better jamming effects.
