With the development of society, people's demand for safety precaution keeps increasing.Perimeter surveillance is an important part of the security system. It refers to monitoring or alerting an important area where there is a security requirement. When an unauthorized person or object enters the area,it needs to be able to detect, alert and track in time. With the increase of civil aviation passenger traffic and the acceleration of airport construction in recent years, the perimeter security in the civil aviation airport has been paid more and more attention.Millimeter-wave radar has significant advantages over other sensors, such as robust environmental adaptability;accurate positioning and tracking;small size, easy deployment, and ease of multi-sensor networking.Therefore,millimeter-wave radar is increasingly widely used in various scenarios including perimeter security.Based on the actual needs of airport security, this thesis identifies the use of millimeter-wave radar as a means of perimeter security by tracking and comparing domestic and foreign research. The subject of research was accurate detection, parameter measurement, and tracking of intrusion targets under the millimeter-wave radar, this thesis takes detection, parameter measurement and tracking as the topic and studies the following contents:(1)Through analysis, the linear FMCW is chosen in this thesis. After analyzing the analytical expressions of the transmit, receive and beat signals, the basic principle of FMCW radar signal processing and beat-FFT operation are described. Then derived the ambiguous function and analyzed resolution performance;proposed the range-velocity coupling phenomenon and the decoupling method based on symmetric triangular FMCW.(2)For close-range perimeter surveillance, radars often have the characteristics of high resolution and low grazing angle. In this thesis, the corresponding statistical models of ground clutter and simulation algorithms are studied to provide the basis for subsequent signal processing. The clutter suppression and Doppler processing under FMCW are analyzed, including moving target indication(MTI)and moving target detection(MTD).Several classic CFAR algorithms based on Weibull clutter are studied, including their false alarm probability expression and Monte-Carlo simulation analysis under Weibull clutter.A fast target detection scheme based on OSGO-CFAR is proposed.(3)Studied parameter measurement under multiple targets.Including spectrum correction;comprehensive utilization of beat frequency spectrum and ambiguous Doppler spectrum for up-and down-ramp pairing;complete decoupling, and obtain high-precision range and speed;based on the phase difference, calculate the direction of arrival.(4)The tracking problem of intrusion targets is studied, including filtering algorithm and motion model. For the characteristics of radar target tracking, the unscented Kalman filter(UKF)algorithm based on the current statistical model(CSM)is proposed. And it is improved to increase the adaptive performance. In order to adapt to the special maneuvering scenes such as sudden acceleration,a fading factor was introduced and a modified CS-UKF algorithm(MCSUKF)was presented.
