In modern warfare,military aircraft need not only superior maneuverability but also a strong survivability.With the development of radar detection technology,traditional aircraft are easily detected,at this time,the stealth performance of the aircraft directly determines its viability in modern warfare.Therefore,the research on the radar crosssection of aircraft has gradually become an important development indicator for weapons and equipment in modern electronic information warfare.After more than 70 years of development,stealth technology has gradually matured,and several strong scattering sources on aircraft have been able to be effectively controlled,and the contribution ratio of many weak scattering sources on the aircraft began to increase greatly and gradually became the focus of research.This article has done the following research on the surface electromagnetic discontinuities:Firstly,the numerical methods used to calculate the numerical modeling problem of electromagnetic discontinuities are introduced,and the application of multi-resolution basis function and multi-resolution precondirioning technology in numerical analysis of defect structures is discussed.Secondly,the electromagnetic scattering characteristics of the step are studied.According to the simulation analysis results,three methods are proposed to reduce the scattering of the step by using inclined steps,leeward steps and multi-steps.The scattering of the step structure is reduced by more than 10 dB.Thirdly,the electromagnetic scattering characteristics of the gap were studied,and the method of sawing the gap was further studied.The influence of the conductivity and magnetic permittivity of the filling material on the reduction of RCS was investigated.Then the electromagnetic scattering characteristics of the diverters were studied.The scattering of the metal diverters structure and the segmented diverters structure was analyzed and compared.It was concluded that the segmented diverters strip had a better RCS reduction than the metal diverters.Finally,the electromagnetic scattering characteristics of the discharge brush were studied.Different installation methods of the discharge brush were analyzed.And the suggestions for adopting the corresponding installation methods for different types of aircraft were put forward.The traditional structure of the discharge brush is improved,and the electromagnetic scattering of the discharge brush is further reduced...
